The Relationship Between Perceived Social Support and PTSD over a 3-Year Period in Male UK (Ex-)Military who Deployed to Afghanistan

Hypothesis

Perceived social support and PTSD will be analysed as latent variables composed of indicators. Perceived social support will be composed of three indicators of social support from family, friends and significant others. PTSD will be composed of four indicators encompassing intrusive re-experiencing symptoms, avoidance symptoms, negative mood symptoms, and hyperarousal symptoms.
