The Baseline Musculoskeletal Health of the ADVANCE Cohort

Hypothesis

The injured cohort will have lower bone mineral density, advanced signs of joint degeneration, and higher body fat percentage, than non-injured controls.

Summary

This project is a cross-sectional analysis of the demographics, anthropometric, DEXA and X-ray results for the ADVANCE baseline visit which will aim for evidence of altered bone mineral density, joint degeneration, and body composition among the injured versus non-injured baseline cohorts. The hypothesis is that the injured cohort will have lower bone mineral density, advanced signs of joint degeneration, and higher body fat percentage, than non-injured controls.
